In October 2024, modplot was created with the idea that everyone can drastically improve their lives through small lifestyle changes. Today’s world stimulates our brains and takes advantages of our desires, but stepping back — thinking about each subconscious and conscious decision we make — provides the unique opportunity to reimagine ourselves as individuals. As Dr. Alok “Dr. K” Kanojia, a licensed psychiatrist in the US, has said on his mental-health-based YouTube channel, we must destroy our current self-image to be able to build a new sense of self. He has amassed more than 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube and provides courses targeted at common mental health issues. The subjects included on this website encapsulate what we view as the most important aspects of life to facilitate positive change.

Physical Health

Studies show increased physical activity and physical health improve cognitive function and quality of life (Coe, Dawn Padulka, et al.) (Naylor, Chris, et al.). We hope to build more complete members of society such that physical and mental health are no longer limiting factors in our daily lives.
